Duration of Quarters
Under 10-12: 4x15 minutes.
Under 13-14: 4x20 minutes.
No time on in any games unless there is undue delay.
Breaks between quarters
Quarter Time: 4minutes
Half Time: 12 minutes
Three Quarter Time: 7minutes.
Umpires: All umpires (Field, Boundary and Goal) will be supplied by the YJFL.
Under 10-13: One Field Umpire.
Under 14: Two Field Umpires.
Footballs: To be supplied by the Y.J.F.L
Shorts: WJFA - Navy and YJFL- White.
Officials on Ground: Each competing team shall have on the ground (between the fence and the boundary line) a Coach, Runner and Interchange players. Two Trainers may be used. If two are used one must be on the opposite side of the ground.
ORDER OFF RULE: A player ordered off the ground by the field umpire (Umpire will display a Yellow Card) can be immediately replaced. The player ordered off the ground can return to the field after the equivalent of 1/4 of the game being played.
Kicking Ball off the Ground Players in all Age Groups are allowed to kick the ball off the ground except Under 10s.
Each League to supply a Time Keeper.
